Cookies & browser storage
PBox uses browser storage to keep you signed in and remember features and settings you use.
Sign-in cookies
Supabase authentication cookies, including names beginning with sb-, keep your session available and support sign-in and recovery flows. Their contents and expiry are managed by the authentication service. Signing out clears the active sign-in session.
Preferences and local storage
Local storage remembers appearance settings, reduced motion, library display preferences, dismissed onboarding tips and installation prompts. These remain in that browser until changed or cleared. The browser companion stores its own library and settings in extension storage.
Third-party content
Google sign-in and external sites have their own storage policies. Loading embedded media, including YouTube trailers, may involve third-party storage and technical data. Third-party policies apply when you use those features or follow links.
Advertising and analytics
The current PBox app does not include advertising cookies or a third-party analytics tracker. This notice will be updated if optional tracking is added.
Managing storage
Sign out, change preferences in Settings, or use your browser’s site-data controls to remove PBox cookies and local storage. Clearing sign-in cookies signs you out; clearing local storage resets preferences. Extension storage is managed separately. Blocking storage may prevent sign-in or saved preferences from working.
