Privacy notice
This notice explains how Pandora\u2019s Box uses information when you discover titles, keep a library and use community features.
Information you provide
An account stores your email, username, profile details and authentication information through Supabase. Your library stores saved titles, ratings, statuses and playback progress. Messages, collections, social activity and support requests store the information you choose to submit.
How information is used
We use your information to sign you in, sync your library, deliver requested social features and notifications, and respond to support requests. Hosting and authentication services may process IP addresses and request logs to operate and protect the service.
Visibility and sharing
Profile, activity and collection visibility depend on your privacy settings. Public collections may appear in search. Review visibility before sharing. Connected integrations receive the data needed for the sync you request.
Browser companion
The extension stores tracked titles and playback progress in your browser. Opening PBox while signed in can import captured playback into that account’s library. Auto-tracking can be disabled in extension settings. Optional extension-to-extension sync is configured separately.
Services used
PBox uses Vercel for hosting and Supabase for accounts and stored data. Catalogue and artwork sources include TMDB, AniList, MangaDex and other media providers. Google sign-in is optional. Opening third-party media or links may send technical information to that provider. Description-based search may use an AI provider to process the description you submit; avoid including personal information.
Choices and privacy requests
You can edit profile settings, remove library items, export your library in Settings and disconnect supported integrations. Contact Help for account deletion, access, correction or other privacy requests. Do not send passwords. Depending on your location, you may have rights to object, restrict processing or complain to your data protection authority.
Retention
Account and library data are stored to provide your account until removed or deletion is requested. Operational logs and backups follow hosting and storage provider settings. Clearing browser data does not delete your cloud account.
